The European Composers' Forum (ECF) is representing all Art&Classical Music composers in Europe and
is the central network organisation linking together all national composers' associations active in this genre.
Irrespective of political divisions in Europe, the ECF believes in an all-European artistic community beyond EU-borders.
ECF has been joined by 26 European countries already!
Our members are the composers' associations from:
Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, England, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

The founding of ECSA has taken place 7th March 2007 in Madrid/Spain.

On behalf of more than 100 composers of all genres of music from more than 30 European countries who signed the "Vienna Declaration" on the Composers' Congress in Vienna (2nd to 5th February, 2006), the ECF
is formed to defend and represent the legal, creative, cultural and social interests of composers in Europe -
with a special regard towards the European cultural policy. To
1. defend the principles of collective administration of authors rights by supporting and monitoring the activities of our collecting societies in the contextof intellectual property laws at the European level
2. protect and develop the rich diversity of our cultures, having in mind the UNESCO declaration on cultural diversity
3. consolidate and improve the status of composers and increase the awareness of, and respect for composers and their creations, both in the industries they serve and in society as a whole, and the value that their works add economically, intellectually and spiritually.
is the mission according to the "Vienna Declaration".
The seat of ECF is in Vienna/Austria
ECF is a non-profit association according to Austrian law.
Registered by ZVR No. 490801868 in Vienna.

Madrid: The ECSA - European Composer & Songwriter Alliance, the umbrella-organisation to lobby in favour of European composers and music writers above
the 3 pillars (APCOE, FFACE, ECF) has been successfully founded.

APCOE - "Allicance of Popular Music Composers Organisations in Europe" has been successfully founded on the MIDEM in Cannes.
12 countries from across Europe have joined the APCOE. Therewith, all 3 pillars of the European composers' network initiative
have been formed as planned.
